Risk Assurance Manager

Are you interested in IT audits and IT risk management? We are currently looking for a manager to join our Risk Assurance competency area.

The opportunity

Our Risk Assurance team provides services such as IT audits that we provide to our external and internal audit clients, third party reporting (such as ISAE 3402, WebtTrust), IT risk advisory and security and controls of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems. We're also integrating our services and competences into our Advisory transformation engagements delivering world-class information technology advice as part of our broader risk and business improvement services. Your key responsibilities

As a Manager in our Risk Assurance team you collaborate with other members of the engagement teams to plan the engagements and develop work program timelines and other planning documents. Work with the engagement teams to document the business processes dependent on information technology. Serve as a fieldwork leader by directing the daily progress of fieldwork, informing stakeholders of engagement status, and managing staff performance.

Demonstrate and apply a thorough understanding of complex information systems. Use knowledge of the current IT environment and industry IT trends to identify the engagement and client service issues, and communicate this information to the engagement team and client management through written correspondence and verbal presentations.

Demonstrate and apply strong project management skills, inspire teamwork and responsibility with engagement team members, and use current technology and tools to enhance the effectiveness of deliverables and services.

Skills and attributes for success

  • A master's degree in accounting, information systems, finance, computer science, engineering, business or a related discipline

  • At minimum of 5 years of related work experience

  • Project management skills

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and presentation skills

  • Leadership, teamwork and client service skills

  • The ability to adapt to new challenges as a true team player

  • Passion for learning and development

  • Excellent skills in Finnish and English, other language skills are considered an asset

To qualify for the role you must have

  • Technical, Accounting, Finance, or similar background

  • Prior experience and interest in IT risk management or IT Audit

  • Knowledge of IT frameworks and standards (COBIT, ISAE 3402, ISO 27000 and ITIL series)

Ideally, you’ll also have

  • Professional certifications (e.g. CISA, CISSP, CIA)
