We are looking for

HR Manager, Technology & Innovation

As HR Manager in KONE’s Technology & Innovation unit, you will contribute to the unit performance by ensuring that KONE attracts, manages, develops and retains the best R&D and IT professionals. The purpose of Technology & Innovation unit is to speed up our development in a changing business environment, as the opportunities from digitalization are accelerating in our industry.

In this role you will focus on resource management and capability building to ensure that the Technology & Innovation unit has the right talent with the right skills in future. This includes understanding how our teams work together with the technology partners. Managing change and transformation is an essential part of this role. In this role, you will work closely with the unit leadership teams and coach them in developing their teams.

The HR Manager, Technology & Innovation, will report to the Head of CTO Office. The position will be located in Espoo or Hyvinkää, Finland.

Main responsibilities

  • Drive and take responsibility for the implementation and maintenance of HR policies, processes and systems across the unit to ensure HR is aligned with the business strategy and goals.

  • Ensure unit resources and their competence levels meet current and future business needs and long and short term workforce planning

  • Assess and identify the impact of Technology & Innovation transformation program in the positions, competencies and skill requirements

  • Plan and deliver required change management actions, coaching and supporting the teams in driving and implementing the change

  • Drive and maintain KONE culture development and change program in the unit

  • Coach leaders on people topics and align HR services against business needs

  • Support HR service delivery model by working effectively with HR Services (SSC) and Center of Expertise teams

  • Measure and track performance e.g. to identify areas for improvement

  • Work in close collaboration with the HR professionals and teams working in different countries to ensure alignment and that global function specific HR requirements are included

  • Participate in the delivery and advisory of different HR Process areas, such as Reward and Recognition, Learning and Development, Talent Management and Talent Acquisition

Skills, Education and Experience

  • M.Sc. degree in relevant field or equivalent experience

  • 5-7 years of progressive Human Resources experience, experience from different industries

  • Experience from technology companies is an asset

  • Proven track-record on creating and running structured, innovative and business driven resource management and competence development activities

  • Solid understanding of HR processes and operations in global environment

  • Hands-on experience on creating and executing different change management activities in a global environment

  • Strong project management skills and track-record of completing successful HR development projects

  • Experience of working in global matrix organization and working in multicultural teams

  • Cross-cultural skills and work experience in China or India is seen as a benefit

  • Proactive communication and ability to influence

  • Fluency in English, other languages as an advantage
