We are looking for new people to join our Customer Service team

We are recruiting three new people to join our engaged Customer Service team in Unilever Helsinki Office located in Vallila.

As a member of our Customer Service team you will be working with both front office and back office tasks providing the best service to our customers – internally and externally. The main responsibility is to secure that our order to cash (O2C) process works flawlessly, our customers are happy, and that we have a value-adding mindset to everything we do.

Customer Service Specialist tasks

As Unilever’s Customer Service Specialist, you will be responsible for coordinating the end-to-end customer order flow and ensuring smooth operations in order to cash processes. You will be working as part of Supply Chain, and will communicate closely with the Planning and Sales team regarding collaborations with the customers.

Likewise you will:

  • Manage daily communication and interactions with B2B customers, warehouses, and logistics providers.

  • Be first point of contact to our order management hub.

  • Understand and manage customer requirements and opportunities (strategy, structure, targets, operational standards, routines, and systems).

  • Provide proactive information to our internal and external customers.

  • Improve our processes and ways of working.

Do you see a match?

  • You have a Bachelor’s or a Master’s degree in Business or relevant field.

  • You have initial work experience in the field of supply chain or customer service.

  • You are service-minded, have an investigative mindset, and do not shy away from challenges.

  • You also have excellent attention to the detail and aworking knowledge ofMS Office.

  • Knowledge of SAP and CRM is an advantage, but attitude is key.

  • Good communication skills in Finnish and English (written and oral) are essential.

  • You are a good team player since you will be working with many different people in the organization.

  • You take challenges head-on, have ownership of your area of responsibilities, and have a continuous improvement mindset.

  • You can prioritize and focus in a fast-paced environment.

Position #1: Customer Facing Specialist (permanent and full-time contract)

Primary tasks involve working closely with B2B customers in order to ensure that the order flow is smooth and address any potential issues that arise. Responsibility also includes being a key user for two online web shops, supporting in internal audits, and handling month end process. Month end process involves committing to working late every last working day of the month.

This person also acts as a backup for our Logistics Specialist, so in longer terms it involves learning Logistics processes and acting as backup for Logistics during holidays and sick days.

This position requires you to work closely with both internal and external customers, but also have a very detail-oriented mindset. You thrive in a fast-paced environment, know how to prioritize, and keep track of many simultaneous things.

Position #2: Customer Service Specialist (1 year maternity leave fixed term contract)

Primary tasks involve working with one B2B customer and managing daily tasks related to order flow to the warehouses.This person will also be in charge of weekly reporting and ensuresthat the analysis is done well and needed actions taken.

The person we are looking for is comfortable using Excel, is detail-oriented and analytical, and wants to understand and develop processes.

Position #3: Customer Facing Specialist (6 months fixed-term contract)

Primary tasks involve working closely with a large number of smaller B2B customers and managing daily tasks related to order flow. The person needs to enjoy working with people ashe/she will need to work closely with the customers and our field sales in order to ensure the smooth order to cash flow. You thrive in a fast-paced environment, know how to prioritize, and keep track of many simultaneous things.
