Sales Manager

Full time, based in Finland

As a Sales Manager you are part of the EMEA Sales team with special responsibility for the management of larger customers in Finland. In your work you will meet representatives of the procurement, Travel Managers and often also CFO's of potential customers.

Your responsibilities:

  • Identify the problems the customer is trying to solve and find a suitable solution

  • Develop and maintain relationships with prospective and current clients, continually appraising of travel industry trends and BCD Travel products and services

  • Identify and maintain prospect pipeline

  • Working with our account management teams to help retain and grow our client base

  • Negotiate all client contract terms consistent with company approval processes and commercial policy

  • Maintain detailed records and document sales efforts

  • Oversee the implementation of new business, working closely with our implementation teams to ensure client expectations are always achieved

  • Develop and maintain supplier relationships

Your profile:

  • 5+ years relevant work experience in a sales position at corporate level

  • Able to advise and challenge the customer by giving new insights

  • Experience with consultative selling

  • Provide the customer with new solutions

  • Business travel industry experience is preferred

  • Ability to lead tendering processes

  • Structured and carefully, keeping deadlines

  • Very good presentation ability both orally and in writing

  • Highly proficient in spoken and written English and Finnish

  • Ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 25% of the time
