Project Manager, Digital Tools and Applications

We are looking for a

Project Manager, Digital Tools and Applications

to plan, execute and manage strategic development projects within Kalmar Services in the area of digital tools and applications. The tools and applications include digital tools utilised by end customers such as Kalmar MyParts e-commerce and internal tools and applications used by the frontline units and Kalmar Services central organisation.

In this position you work with the Kalmar Services, product lines and management, 3rd party parts book documentation providers, Cargotec CSC, 3rd party product and solution providers and external vendors and IT solution providers.

Key accountabilities

  • Project Manager, Digital Tools and Applications plans, executes and manages Kalmar Services development projects and supports the rollout of the developed tools and applications.

  • Gathering business requirements and prioritisation of development needs together with the management

  • Definition of projects’ scope and objectives, project and resource planning, establishment of project steering and management practices, ensuring professional project execution in schedule and in budget, project reporting and documentation.

  • Stakeholder communications and management

  • Preparing materials for requesting quotations from vendors and executing quotation processes, vendor management

  • Producing and maintaining application documentation

  • Acting as Kalmar MyParts e-commerce solution development lead

  • Maintaining and developing the global e-commerce platform

  • Cooperating with Kalmar Services business functions to maintain and improve data content quality

  • Cooperating with Cargotec CSC and Kalmar Information management to maintain and improve e-commerce systems performance

  • Key-user support and training

  • Roadmap development

Education

  • Commercial or Technical background

  • Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in business administration/mechanical engineering/industrial management/computer science/information technology or equivalent work experience

Experience

  • IT tools, systems and/or processes development experience

  • Project work and management experience

  • Experience in working within industrial heavy machinery business and/or service companies

  • General IT tools, including MS-Office (at least Word, Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint, Visio, Project) and Google tools

  • Experience and knowledge of spare part and maintenance processes

  • E-commerce systems

Competencies
