Your challenge

We are looking for a Software Project Coordinator/ Scrum Master with strong experience in Agile development and as a Scrum Master that would love to take on the challenge to guide engineers and managers towards collaboration, agility and value creation in teams, leveraging the Scaled Agile Framework.

Your responsibilities

Your main goal is to promote, spread and safeguard the Agile mindset in the organization and to work on the multisite development and multisite cooperation, enabling teams to integrate components developed at different sites. You will act as a Scrum Master, coaching and assisting people in all layers of the organization in thinking and behaving according to the Agile mindset in their day-to-day job.

By acting as a Scrum Master, you enable software developers and physicists to spend more time on application development, and ensure teams are constantly improving their ways of working and software development procedures.

Your team

MR Therapy Business Unit creates medical therapy devices based on a MRI system. MR Therapy is part of a larger Radiation Oncology Business Unit. Within MR Therapy, we have multiple agile teams developing software for our products. Your team cooperates actively with other Philips business units.

We are looking for

  • Relevant educational background, preferably within Software/IT

  • 5+ years of experience working in an R&D organization

  • Experience with Agile and Lean mindset and best practices

  • Experience in implementing Agile techniques (Scrum, XP, Kanban, SAFe) in different cultures and environments

  • Experience on successfully run Agile projects of varying size and complexity

  • Ability to communicate and connect to different levels within an R&D organization

  • Creative way of thinking, problem solving, thinking in opportunities, and can-do mentality

  • A natural ability to motivate and guide employees and teams
