To strengthen our team, we are looking for a Product Specialist for our fast growing Liquid Phase Separations portfolio as part of Agilent's Life Sciences and Applied Markets Group.

Your responsibilities:

  • Drive the Liquid Phase Separations (HPLC, CE, SFC,Prep) business and ensure product penetration into the Life Sciences and Applied Markets by mastering the entire sales process from lead qualification to closing

  • Use your dynamic interpersonal skills to interface with the local Sales Channel Team, the Application Chemists and the European marketing group

  • Supporting the IDO Sales force assisting in all technical aspects of the Agilent portfolio

  • Driving and developing the Liquid Phase Separations business in the IDO countries

  • Managing funnel including monthly forecast

  • Support deployment of EMEA marketing plan, implement appropriate tactics (i.e. delivering presentations and conference support)

  • Maintain and expand critical domain knowledge including latest scientific findings, market & technology trends, industry benchmarks & regulations, competitive positioning

Qualifications

Your qualifications:

  • MSc or University Degree or equivalent in Biochemistry or another life-science discipline

  • At least 3 years of relevant experience in a sales environment

  • In depth understanding of the theory of HPLC hardware (Pumps, Autosamplers, Detectors)

  • A full understanding of HPLC Column theory and how to apply this with respect to customer applications

  • To be able to demonstrate Chromatography Data Systems (CDS) with LCMS/SQ

  • To be able to demonstrate Chromatography Data Systems (CDS) with live HPLC attached

  • You have the ability to qualify the customer’s requirements and offer and demonstrate a solution to meet those requirements

  • Strong negotiation, presentation and communication skills

  • Fluency in written and oral English
