Site Controller, Tampere
Sandvik Mining and Construction Oy’s Tampere plant is a global technology and manufacturing center for construction and mining equipment. We are now looking for an experienced and pro-active Site Controller to be based at our plant in Tampere, Finland.
You will be manager of a high performing Business Control team, responsible for preparation of financial statements, business activity reports, financial forecasts, and other reports for Business Area Sandvik Mining and Rock Technology and regulatory agencies. The Site Controller participates actively in the month-end close process by validating reports, approving entries and reconciliation of all financial flows. Together with the Finance Manager for the company, you act as co-owner of the Sandvik internal control framework.
As a member of Plant management team, you will support Plant management in driving a cost effective and efficient operation. You also act as business partner to the local Site management, Supply organization and Product Areas. In your role you actively drive continuous improvements and changes to processes, tools, and ways of working.
You have a Master’s degree in Finance, Business Economics or Industrial Management. You have worked minimum of five years’ in a manufacturing environment, and have previous managerial experience. You have deep knowledge of financial and business accounting and reporting, including IFRS. You are used to working with manufacturing cost accounting incl. cost allocations as well as with supply chain processes and plant risks. You have excellent skills in MS Office and reporting software e.g. BPC, Hyperion, Cognos or Qlikview, as well as ERP systems. Experience with SAP, System 21 or Lean ERP is an advantage.
Your way of working is structured, proactive, service minded, consultative, and business oriented. You demonstrate the ability to drive change. You have excellent leadership and communication skills. You can speak and write fluently in English. You are willing to travel locally and internationally.
