A Typical Day Will Include:

As a Drug Safety and Medical Information Specialist you work in close collaboration with a broad base of experts, and have a range of responsibilities where you:

  • Take responsibility for reporting local ICSR:s to Takeda Global Patient Safety Evaluation

  • Perform local literature monitoring

  • Act as pharmacovigilance business partner for different business units, providing support for differenty types of study projects, market research and social media

  • Plan and execute drug safety training for staff and vendors

  • Develop the drug safety function in collaboration with other Nordic drug safety officers and Global Patient Safety Evaluation functions

  • Work in cooperation with medical advisors and internal experts at Takeda to handle medical inquiries by health care professionals and consumers

  • Coordinate and develop the Medical information function in a Multi-Country Organization consisting of Finland and the Baltics

Required Qualifications:

  • At least a Bachelor`s degree in pharmacy

  • Knowledge of EU GVP requirements

  • Ability to work independently and find and process data from various data sources

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

  • Flexibility and dynamic approach

  • Excellent Problem solving and judgment skills

  • Fluency in Finnish and English, both written and spoken

  • Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Ability to quickly learn new systems

  • Desire to put people first and demonstrate the values of Takeda-ism
