Philips Account manager - Sleep and Respiratory Care in Finland - Remote Based, Finland

Philips Oy, Sleep and Respiratory care, in Finland are searching for a new colleague who can help us expand and grow with our products. We are welcoming you to a fascinating field with homecare products and you will become a member of a dynamic group working with our market leading products in whole Finland.

Your responsibilities

As an Account Manager you will be responsible for the introduction and sales of the company’s Sleep and Home Respiratory products to targeted markets and customers. As a member of our sales team you will work primarily with our Ventilation product portfolio, but you may later take responsibility also for Sleep apnea and Diagnostic products. Your customers are mostly hospitals and other health care units. Your clientele includes doctors and nurses as well as purchase departments.

You will work close in the customer’s network and be responsible for the development of customer relationships including identifying new customers. We are even working in bedside of the patients when instructing on the correct use of our devices, which makes clinical experience a necessity to succeed in the job.

In your role you will:

  • Manage, develop and maintain high quality relationships with clinical personnel.

  • Demonstrate a high level of product knowledge and articulate this into clinical value.

  • Be responsible for account management in your responsibility area including long and short-term key customer plans.

  • Be responsible for developing and managing customer relationships. Maintain records of sales activities, schedules and customers. Pre-plan and prepare for customer visits and training, manage the sales calls and follow-up activities. Timely follow up on customer interaction and plan for future.

  • Prepare for tenders and ensure we execute on the outcome. Increase market share within your responsibility products and area.

  • Keep up high knowledge on competitive intelligence within own area.

  • Your responsibility products may include but are not limited to those in the area of Invasive and Non-invasive ventilation, Mechanical airway clearance (Cough assist) treatment and Patient Interfaces. You may also take responsibility in the Sleep Apnea treatment, Humidification and Diagnostics.

  • Your area of responsibility can cover the whole country or part of it. We are primarily looking for a person located in the Helsinki/Capital or Tampere/Turku area, who is willing to travel in the whole country.   • Relevant educational and clinical background. Your ideal background is Nurse with clinical experience preferably at lung or intensive care unit.

  • Commercial experience is a plus, but your clinical background and personality is most important. We expect you to understand the healthcare system and be able to articulate clinical value to customers.

  • Ability to work independently and as a team member. Creative out of the box thinker.

  • Fluent in Finnish and comfortable in having presentations. Because of international collaboration and in-house training, good English skills are required. Swedish is a plus.
