We are now looking to fill an exciting position in our instrument sales team in Finland. As an Account Manager for Finland, you will be part of Agilent Technologies Laboratory Solutions Sales (LSS) dynamic team in the Nordics. In this critical sales role, you will utilize your expertise and technical knowledge to manage academic and commercial accounts. You will sell chromatography, mass spectrometry and spectroscopy solutions and proactively develop and implement a successful sales strategy to exceed target. As an integral member of the Nordic team, you will use your excellent sales track record to focus on acquiring new customers and growing the existing installed base of customers at all levels within your assigned territory.
A major requirement for this position is the ability to work at a strategic level, both networking and creating business to business opportunities with senior researchers whilst at the same time ensuring that ‘core’ business is managed and closed. The Account Manager will have responsibility across all product lines and focus on driving market share of Agilent’s portfolio for chromatography, mass spectrometry and spectroscopy.
Your responsibilities:
Responsible for sales of hardware and software in HPLC, LCMS, GC, GCMS and ICPMS/OES in Finland
Primary point of contact representing Agilent at assigned accounts
Develop new customers and maintain existing customers through daily customer interaction at all levels
Responsible for developing customer relationships and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction
Drive market share in assigned accounts
Possess business development attitude to build long term relationships
Leading projects that require coordinating cross-functional organizations, partnering with other sales and support roles including product specialists who focus on GCMS, LCMS, Spectroscopy, Informatics, Services and Columns & Supplies for interfacing with targeted accounts
Proactively act to understand customer needs and identify solutions to non-standard tasks/queries and actively create business opportunities
Determine and develop approaches to direct or channel sales assignments to achieve target/strategies
Solve a broad range of challenges of varying scope and complexity
Qualifications
Your qualifications:
B.Sc/M.Sc/Ph.D in Chemistry or equivalent and a minimum of 3 years’ direct sales or lab experience with a demonstrated track record of success
Strong business development and sales/closing skills
Able to interface comfortably at all levels with customers
Strong self-motivation and highly goal oriented
Eager to build new relationships and engage with extended network
Must have excellent communication (written and verbal) and teamwork skills
Strong knowledge of mass spectrometry techniques, especially high resolution LCMS, is preferred to support growing LCMS business in Finland
Fluent in Finnish and good English communication skills
