General Electric Intern - Customer Care Consultant in Helsinki, Finland

Role Summary:

In this role, you will be acting as first level support in Healthcare Digital Helpdesk for B2B customers. The employee will deliver first level support to our customers using case management tool and its capabilities. He/She will also do other activities related to Digital solutions provided by GE Healthcare.

This is a part time job on hourly basis average 20 hrs a week starting as soon as possible. For Summer period full time 37,5 hrs a week.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Monitor incoming incident cases and service requests

  • Do first level support to Digital solutions based on information from the cases

  • Frequent customer communication about case status

  • Escalate cases to experts when needed

  • Cooperation over different functions within Healthcare Digital organization

  • Do small IT and other tasks like configuration and coding system updates to Healthcare Digital solutions

  • Help to maintain demo environment for Digital solutions


  • Suitable for example to Master’s or Bachelor’s student in IT

  • Capable to work around the year in office hours (Exact working time will be agreed with the selected candidate, GE will be flexible what it comes to studies in case a student is selected)

  • Willingness to learn and grow in the role

  • Good communication skills and willingness to call customers to get additional information to cases.

  • Willingness to actively take responsibilities of tasks in hand

  • Fluency in Finnish language

  • Fluency in English language

Desired Characteristics:

  • Prior customer facing experience

  • General understanding B2B Digital/IT solutions

  • Knowledge of SQL and programming is advance

  • Knowledge of Server and client environments and their virtualization is advance
