We are looking for a

SCIENTIST / SENIOR SCIENTIST

to join our Global Health & Nutrition Science team based in Kantvik, Southern Finland.

Our team runs a global and diverse program of clinical and pre-clinical studies, targeting to document health benefits of probiotics and other bioactive food ingredients in our portfolio. We can offer you a position in a dynamic international research organization that is a world-wide leader in applied research in the area of probiotics and nutrition.

Our R&D team is looking for a research professional to Scientist or Senior Scientist position to execute of nutritional pre-clinical and clinical trials globally.

Your primary duties will be:

  • Initiating, managing and executinghuman nutritional intervention studies against set milestones and objectives.

  • Reporting of the study progress tointernal and external stakeholders.

  • Documentation of conducted clinicaltrials according to DuPont SOPs.

  • Working in compliance with ICHGuidelines (GCP) and DuPont SOPs.

  • As part of the team, participate inplanning, analysis, presentation, and publication of the clinical andpre-clinical trials.

Qualifications

You are qualified for the position if you have:

  • PhD (or equivalent degree) or MSc(or equivalent degree) in life sciences and several years of relevantexperience in research, preferably in the field of nutrition, microbiome,probiotics, or functional foods.

  • A proven track record in clinicaltrial management is considered an advantage.

  • Experience in one or more of thefollowing health areas may be considered beneficial: digestive health, women’shealth, sports nutrition, metabolic health, oral and skin health.

  • Track record of scientific publicationsand experience in scientific communication is considered valuable, ideally inthe context of food and health ingredients.

  • Effective communication skillsincluding good personal presentation, oral and written communication skills.Fluency in English is essential; Other language skills are seen as a benefit(fluency in Finnish is an advantage).

  • Excellent project management,organizational, and team player skills.

  • Ability to deliver results undertime and resource pressures.

  • Willingness to travel.
