Philips MR System verification engineer in Vantaa, Finland
System Verification duties in RAdOnd NPI projects.
In this role, you have the opportunity to

We are looking for
a System Verification Engineer to join our agile development team. You will be working on Image quality, system integration and new applications for our MR Linac, MR-RT and MR-OR products. In addition to developing new features, you will also be involved in maintenance of our existing products, as well as developing service and installation tools. Your daily tasks will also include work on requirements, verification, usability and documentation. Occasionally you will help other functions e.g. in generating input for or writing manuals. You will sometimes be writing small pieces of software and therefore some programming ability is required. You will be working with products related to Magnetic Resonance Imaging and thereby, prior experience with MRI is an advantage.
You are a part of
Philips Medical Systems MR Finland and belongs to the global Philips Healthcare group. We develop and manufacture image-guided therapy solutions for various medical conditions. Our latest product RTDrive combines advanced image processing algorithms and smart tools to simplify the workflows in radiation therapy planning, and our MR-Linac product offers a possibility to target the external beam radiation therapy more accurately than ever before.
We work closely with Philips global R&D resources. Our facilities are located in Veromies area in Vantaa, where we employ about 80 people. We also employ people at several Philips locations abroad, and part of our staff works with clinical research partners at leading international research hospitals.
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
Master of Science, for example in Physics or Biomedical Engineering; but also other fields of engineering can be considered.
Ability and will to write clear documents in English
Ability to solve problems
Good communication skills
Basic level programming skills, e.g. Matlab or Python
Experience with Magnetic resonance imaging is an advantage
Experience in requirements, verification and documentation is an advantage
Fluent in English both verbally and written.
