Philips Software Test Automation Specialist in Vantaa, Finland

QA actitivities and test automation development for Scrum teams for developing RadOnc related Software.

In this role, you have the opportunity to

work in an agile software team that develops solutions for Radiation Oncology applications that are used in many different stages of cancer treatment.

Some examples of applications that we work with:

You have solid understanding what is the effect of good team spirit and communication skills to your team's velocity. In your team you are the guardian of quality. You have solid skills in writing nasty test cases, continuous integration, test automation development and exploratory testing. You get enjoyment out of developing tools and methods to guarantee long term software quality.

You will also take care of proper documentation required for development of medical device software exists.

You are responsible for

  • Software Test Automation Framework and test development in scrum team

  • Planning of test cases

  • Exploratory Testing

  • Writing and maintaining documentation

  • Participation to process and tool improvement

You are a part of

Philips Radiation Oncology business, which belongs to the global Philips Healthcare group. We develop and manufacture image-guided therapy solutions for various medical conditions. Our latest product RTdrive combines advanced image processing algorithms and smart tools to simplify the workflows in radiation therapy planning, and our MR-Linac product offers a possibility to target the external beam radiation therapy more accurately than ever before.

We work closely with Philips global R&D resources. Our facilities are located in Veromies area in Vantaa, where we employ about 80 people. We also employ people at several Philips locations abroad, and part of our staff works with clinical research partners at leading international research hospitals.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • MSc/BSc degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience

  • 5+ years of software quality assurance experience, preferably in multi-team agile environment

  • Experience in designing continuous integration / test automation environments

  • Experience in working in agile software team

  • Fluent in English, both written and oral

  • Experience quality assurance of software with regulatory requirements is seen as a benefit
