As part of Product Area Rock Drills & Technologies the Business Unit Automation is driving an exciting revolutionary transformation of the Mining industry. This industry is going totally digital, which has a radical impact on our customers’ way of thinking, their processes and the way they run their business. We are looking for an energetic and experienced Supply Chain Manager to support our rapidly growing digital product portfolio development into the future. At Sandvik, the future is now! The position is based in Tampere, Finland and reports directly to the Vice President BU Automation.
In this role, you are a member of the Management Team of the Business Unit (BU) Automation and you will contribute in defining and drive the execution of our overall business strategy. You lead the Business Unit Automation supply and sourcing team, across all automation and information management solutions. This is a team of well-respected experts with global scope and you must ensure their competence development and outstanding performance to deliver business results and achieve the strategic objectives of the Business Unit. The following areas are included in your scope of responsibilities:
Manage supply chain, sourcing, sales order processing
Manage customer deliveries, product structure engineering and production quality management.
Define and Implement Forecast– Order – Delivery process
Manage production planning, demand management, inventory control and ERP systems
Your Profile We are looking for a strong leader with at least 5 years of experience in Lean based production management, production planning and/or management of supply chain. Relevant Master or Bachelor degree is required to lead our experts. The ideal candidate has a result-driven approach and a proven track record managing multiple stakeholders and customers with complex requirements, and successfully driving change initiatives across dynamic organizations. Strong people management skills, open and clear communication are key success factors for this position. Effective international networking (internal and external) and strong communication, presentation and negotiation skills in English as well as stakeholder management are required. The ideal candidate can demonstrate flexibility, speed, problem solving, cooperation, fair play, team spirit, innovation and analytical skills.
